ROBBED!!!

Well I know I haven't blogged in awhile, but an athletic injustice was done and I just can't keep silent. Today was the Oklahoma v. Oregon game and there was a robbery! Oklahoma was robbed by the refs. In case you didnt see the game, Oklahoma was winning by six with just over a minute and a half left when Oregon did an on side kick. Oregon managed to get the ball, but when they did the playback it showed an Oregon player had touched the ball first before it had gone 10 yards. I dont claim to have great knowledge of random football rules, but the commentators indicated that was illegal, and as such the ball should have been Oklahoma's. The refs did review the play, and yet despite the clear video proof, declared the ball to be Oregon's. This resulted in them scoring and winning the game by one in the end. Had the refs called the play correctly, the ball would have been Oklahoma's and they could have wasted the time on the clock. Even the commentators, of which I am not a fan, agreed that the refs called it completely wrong. And yet as soon as the game was over they praised the efforts of Oregon (hmm, wonder why I dont like them). So I just wanted to share that Oklahoma was robbed and because of one bad call they will drop in the rankings and lose their undefeated thus far status.
